Job Description

A skilled Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to both patients and dental team members.

  • Assist with various dental procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and treatment processes run smoothly.
  • Take precise dental x-rays to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment by preparing and breaking down operatories after each procedure.
  • Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs and assisting in patient transitions throughout their visit.
  • Ensure infection control standards are met by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
  • Provide patients with education on oral hygiene practices, promoting long-term oral health.
  • Take accurate impressions and bite registrations, supporting the creation of custom dental appliances.
  • Conduct digital iTero scans for accurate diagnostic data.
  • Assist with patient charting and documentation, supporting doctors in their treatment planning and record-keeping.

The ideal candidate will have an active Registered Dental Assistant License, current CPR certification, and at least 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
