We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team and contribute to building, customizing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites.

  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins that meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with designers and content teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Integrate third-party services, including APIs and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Extend and customize existing WordPress sites using hooks, filters, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to themes, plugins, and hosting environments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in WordPress core, themes, and plugin development, as well as proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (especially jQuery), and MySQL.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Expert-level knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugin development.
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (especially jQuery), and MySQL.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks and build tools (e.g., React, Webpack, Sass) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Gutenberg block development.
  • Experience with WooCommerce, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and popular plugins.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience with version control using Git.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with headless WordPress or REST API.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
