Role Description

An Advanced ROR Programmer is required to develop and maintain complex Ruby on Rails applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and test Ruby on Rails applications with high scalability and maintainability.
  2. Optimize system performance by applying best practices and efficient coding techniques.
  3. Mentor junior developers to enhance their coding skills and knowledge.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
  5. Solve complex application issues and implement improvements.
  6. Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Five or more years of experience in software development with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
  • Expertise in MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, or Vue.js is desirable.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes is beneficial.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide a team in a fast-paced environment.
