This Commercial Development Expert role requires a driven and results-oriented individual who is passionate about identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to drive revenue growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies and plans to achieve revenue growth and market expansion.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- You will be responsible for managing freelance platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr, and creating proposals for bidding purposes.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline by identifying potential clients and actively pursuing new business leads through various channels.
- Collaborate with the line manager and other team members to develop strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Support in negotiating and closing business deals, contracts, and agreements under the guidance of the line manager.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and successful project delivery.
- Track and report on business development activities, sales metrics, and performance against targets to senior management.
- Provide recommendations for business growth and expansion based on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence and build professional relationships.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate knowledge in business development, specifically within the domain of Microsoft Technology services in the IT Services/Software Development company.
- Experience with freelance platforms like Upwork and Fiverr.
- Possess strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze market data effectively.
- Develop negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Show a results-oriented approach, with a strong drive for achieving targets and contributing to business growth.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in using LinkedIn, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Display a proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to take initiative and identify opportunities.
- Familiarity with business development strategies, market analysis, and sales techniques.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate resilience in challenging situations is a key requirement for this role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- 0-6 months of experience, including internships.
