Healthcare Professionals Wanted

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated professionals to join our team as Community Health Workers.

• This role involves working with communities in the program's catchment area, identifying and engaging them in the program's activities.
• Once trained, you will utilize community engagement approaches and participatory rural appraisal (PRA) tools to develop and maintain strong relationships with communities in their designated areas.
• You will identify stakeholders and facilitators in the communities, conduct regular meetings with them, and maintain positive working relationships with them.
• All data coming from the field will be documented, including both qualitative and quantitative data, such as stories from the community.
• You will report progress and weekly updates to the program coordinator.
• You will identify and register target populations, raise awareness among families and caregivers about the importance of routine immunization and vaccination schedules, mobilize community members to attend outreach and fixed immunization sessions, support vaccinators during outreach sessions, and maintain accurate household and immunization records.
• You will also follow up with defaulting families to ensure completion of vaccination doses and assist in maintaining cold chain equipment during sessions if required.
• Any adverse events following immunization (AEFI) will be reported to the supervisor immediately.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience is required for this position.
• A Matric or Intermediate level of education is mandatory.
