Job Details

The Human Rights Due Diligence Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Business and Human Rights Specialist and in close collaboration with the broader project team. The position is responsible for providing project support to strengthen human rights due diligence frameworks in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing BHR initiatives in line with donor requirements and project objectives.
  • Developing strategies for strengthening human rights due diligence frameworks in Pakistan.
  • Aligning UNDP's BHR initiatives with regional and global trends through engagement with UNDP's Global Business & Human Rights team.
  • Providing logistical and administrative support for BHR-related procurement and recruitment processes.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, International Relations, Business Administration or related field. At least two years of professional experience in business & human rights, responsible business practices, corporate social responsibility, private sector, or responsible supply chain management is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory.
