Job Overview

The FX & Treasury Analyst will support the development and execution of competitive, data-driven FX Strategies globally. This role requires working closely with the Treasury, Finance, and Business teams to ensure optimised pricing, efficient liquidity management and strategic decision making in a multi-currency environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor global currency markets and important economic updates.
  • Analyse competitor exchange rates and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create FX pricing plans that align with business goals and profit targets.
  • Suggest rate adjustments based on live market updates and margin trends.
  • Set daily FX rates for sending and receiving countries, considering currency exposure.
  • Review margins regularly to track profit per currency.
  • Share daily FX rate summaries and updates with the internal team.
  • Run simulations to assess rate changes' impact on profits and apply hedging strategies where necessary.
  • Build models and dashboards to guide pricing and strategy decisions.
  • Maintain relationships with partners and banks to collect up-to-date rate information.
  • Track key FX metrics like profit margin, rate changes, and currency volatility.
  • Support cash forecasting for upcoming transactions.
  • Review deal performance to identify less profitable or more expensive corridors.
  • Identify hedging opportunities and recommend risk reduction strategies.
  • Monitor market reactions to rate changes and suggest improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FX, treasury, or financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of currency markets, currency exposure, hedging techniques, and FX pricing dynamics.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
