Power BI Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Power BI developer to fill a key role in our data analytics team. As a core member of the team, you will design and develop interactive reports and dashboards to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and optimize Power BI semantic models for accuracy, performance, and scalability.
  • Develop complex DAX measures, implement calculation groups, and apply advanced techniques to support business requirements.
  • Configure and manage Row-Level Security (RLS), enforce governance standards, and ensure compliance with best practice modelling.
  • Use Git/Azure DevOps for source control and devops, including creating branches, managing pull requests, and merging code into main.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to interrogate and transform datasets for integration into Power BI models.
  • Take ownership of tasks from specification through to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
  • Champion dimensional modelling and star schema design to ensure consistency, maintainability, and performance across the reporting layer.
  • Build and enhance enterprise-grade dashboards, ensuring usability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Power BI developer or similar role.
  • Proven track record designing and publishing complex Power BI models and reports.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, star schemas, and BI best practice.
  • Experience with data modeling and report design best practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
