About Data Engineering Roles

This is a remote full-time position responsible for designing, building, testing, optimizing, and maintaining infrastructure and code for data integration, storage, processing, pipelines, and analytics.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement highly scalable and efficient data architectures, defining and maintaining standards and best practices for data management independently.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, quality, and performance of data systems.
  • Mentor junior/mid-level data engineers in developing data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop effective data solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve data integration, processing, and analysis.

Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of real-world data engineering experience in cloud environments like AWS and GCP.
  • Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Experience with distributed data technologies like Spark, DBT, and Kafka.
  • Expertise in cloud computing services like AWS Lambda, S3, Lake Formation, EC2, EMR, ECS/ECR, and IAM.
