The Treasury Specialist plays a pivotal role in the organization's financial operations, focusing on cash management, banking relationships, liquidity forecasting, and risk management. This position ensures optimal utilization of cash resources, adherence to internal controls, and accurate financial reporting.

About the Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash & Liquidity Management:
    • Monitor daily cash positions to ensure adequate liquidity across accounts.
    • Execute fund transfers, investments, and foreign exchange transactions efficiently.
    • Support short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting to inform strategic decisions.
  • Banking Operations:
    • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
    • Open, close, and manage bank accounts, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
    • Ensure adherence to banking covenants and regulatory standards.
  • Treasury Reporting:
    • Prepare timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports.
    • Assist in treasury-related month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring seamless transitions.
    • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Develop and implement hedging strategies for FX, interest rate, and commodity exposures to minimize risks.
  • Monitor market trends to assess financial risks and opportunities.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance:
    • Contribute to the implementation of treasury systems and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
