Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced database administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle databases, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in database administration at a well-reputed organization.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the database high availability and performance, ensuring that data governance standards are followed to maintain high data quality. They will also be responsible for developing policies and procedures for data standards, access, usage, and disaster recovery.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, and patching of Oracle Databases
  • Writing ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting system issues in a timely manner
  • Performing backups and periodically testing restore processes
  • Providing technical assistance to development teams as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). A minimum of 4 years of post-graduation experience in database administration is required, with a strong background in Oracle databases.

Candidates should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Benefits

The selected candidate will be hired initially for a contract period of 5 years, which may be extended if required. The company reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
