About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Specialist to join our team. This role will involve working on complex Business Warehouse/ HANA solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, unit-test, document, migrate, load data and deploy/transition solutions in areas of BW/HANA as per defined business requirements and project timelines/milestones.
  • Translate business requirements into functional/technical design specifications consistent with best practices and delivery of sustainable solutions.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Total 8-10 years of experience in areas of BW/HANA and at least 2 years as a design lead/solution architect.
  • Strong technical expertise and experience in implementation of at least 2 large-scale BI implementations.
  • Proven track record in designing BW/HANA back-end architecture/design as per defined business requirements.
Desirable Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP BW and HANA modeling from extraction, transformation and modeling and data integration. Hands-on experience required.
  • Understanding of new capabilities with BW on HANA and BW/4HANA.
  • Experience with design/development of solutions using Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Understanding of middleware data services tools like Business Objects Data Services, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, SAP PO etc.
About You

You will be responsible for working closely with the BI architecture team and understanding architecture/design principles/guidelines for design and build reviews of the design specifications and development as per architecture/design guidelines and standards.

You will also work closely with the BI COE team for understanding of requirements, data flow diagrams (high-level design) and functional designs to build BW solutions.

Additionally, you will actively participate in different development test cycles by providing support for defect resolutions and cutover/go live support activities.
