Web Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled web developer to join our product team. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for translating customer needs and user expectations into interactive web applications.

You must be both technically proficient and have a keen eye for design and UI/UX. In this role, you'll make a significant contribution to defining how the application looks and works.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert or front-end engineer. You should be able to demonstrate hands-on experience in using current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.

Responsibilities

  • Translate design wireframes into code that produces visual elements of the application.
  • Work closely with the UI/UX design team to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.
  • Optimize the application in terms of technology and deliver the best user experience.

Requirements

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3.
  • High level of experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system.
  • Solid experience in using a complex REST API from the client-side.
  • Good knowledge and practical experience in client-side build/config management.
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket.
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and Ajax.
  • Some exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline for cloud, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, etc.

Bonus Skills

A good understanding of SEO principles is a plus, as well as knowledge of Wordpress and Laravel.
