A Collection Specialist is required to handle workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing of billing submissions, liens, and unpaid bills. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of California WC regulations and be able to take a proactive approach to resolving outstanding balances.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Monitor and manage outstanding WC receivables and lien accounts.
  • Follow up with insurance companies, third-party administrators, and defense attorneys to resolve unpaid or underpaid claims.
  • Draft and submit settlement demands, rebuttals, and supplemental documents to carriers and/or defense counsel.
  • Communicate with medical providers or facility staff to obtain missing documentation, clarify case details, or provide updates on account status.
  • Resolve disputes and negotiate settlements on behalf of medical providers.
