Job Overview

The Grants and Project Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing grants-related data processes and procedures, working closely with management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We conduct thorough research on national and international funding opportunities to ensure the Centre stays up-to-date with emerging trends.
  • Maintain an accurate grant database aligned with our strategic vision, tracking calls for proposals regularly to capitalize on new prospects.
  • Draft Expression of Interest (EOI) forms for faculty members based on donor/funding body requirements and manage EOIs effectively.
  • Collaborate with faculty PIs/consultants to conceptualize project designs, draft compelling proposals, identify partners, develop M&E and budgets, and consolidate grant applications.
  • Handle the complete grant cycle from application to award stages to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Office of Research to gather necessary documentation and manage Centre's applications on the GAMES portal efficiently.
  • We facilitate team conduct of programmes and activities, as well as liaison with internal and external stakeholders to explore grant partnerships/consortium opportunities.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong project coordination and implementation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Familiarity with developing grant applications and creating comprehensive budgets.
Experience Requirements:

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the development sector is required for this position.
