The position of Research Assistant at the Department of Biochemistry offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a Higher Education Commission project titled "Therapeutics role and molecular determinants of GDF11 regulated liver fibrosis."

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in research projects, conducting experiments, and collecting data. You will also be expected to analyze results, draw conclusions, and communicate findings to the team.

  • Research and Experimentation: Assist in designing and conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results.
  • Data Analysis: Use statistical software to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw conclusions.
  • Communication: Present findings to the team, write reports, and assist in preparing manuscripts for publication.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must be enrolled in MPhil Biochemistry and have relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong academic record and research experience.

You must also meet the following requirements:

  • Nationality: Pakistani nationality is required.
  • Marital Status: You must not be married to a foreign national.
  • Qualification: Enrolled in MPhil Biochemistry.
  • Experience: Relevant experience is preferred.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive monthly stipend of PKR 26,400 per month and a contract duration of 01 year, extendable up to one more year based on performance or availability of funds.
