Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead our software development projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while meeting high-quality standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include project planning, resource management, risk management, and monitoring and tracking of project progress. You will also oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and product owners, to allocate resources effectively and ensure the right mix of skills and expertise are applied to project tasks.

You will identify potential risks to the project and develop mitigation strategies, as well as oversee support and maintenance activities to ensure timely resolution of production issues and customer queries.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and IT infrastructure, as well as experience of managing enterprise software projects. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
  • Experience of managing agile development teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to recognize technical, resource, and manage risks and recommend mitigation approaches.
