Quality Assurance Specialist

The position of Quality Assurance Specialist entails ensuring software applications and systems align with customer specifications and requirements. Testing is conducted to verify functionality, identify bugs, and ensure the software meets expected standards.

This role is typically offered on a full-time basis and reports directly to the Quality Control Lead. To excel in this position, one must possess attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and experience working collaboratively as part of a team.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Test software applications to validate that they function correctly, pinpoint bugs, and guarantee compliance with customer expectations.
  • Develop test cases and scripts to execute thorough testing procedures.
  • Document identified bugs within a designated tracking system and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing to confirm previously resolved issues do not recur.
  • Collaborate with the development team to comprehend software requirements and provide insightful feedback on design and implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience designing and executing test cases.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
