Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in mechanical, chemical, mechatronics, petroleum, or electronics to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will have at least 09 years of post-qualification experience preferably in the oil and gas or public sector.

Candidates with a Master's degree will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas flow measuring equipment installed and operated in the region.
  • Maintain preventive and breakdown maintenance of the gas flow measurement stations to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Optimize manpower and material resources to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Provide technical support to other regions to meet common departmental objectives for accurate gas measurement.
  • Oversee calibration of metering instruments at Point of Delivery(s), Check Metering Station(s), and Sales Meter Station(s) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Manage routine verification and calibration of pressure and temperature transmitters throughout the region.
  • Install and commission new metering installations and/or upgrade existing setups in the region.
  • Ensure timely submission of field activity/maintenance activity reports by the team and maintain documentation records.
  • Coordinate Joint Meter Check activities with the Distribution department for gas volume recorded at Sales Metering Stations in the region.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team and coordinate field activities related to equipment installation, startup, and operation.
  • Analyze data through remote monitoring systems to identify problems and take corrective measures in a timely manner.
