• Verifying patient information and lab test requisitions to ensure accurate sample collection.
• Collecting blood samples through precise vein puncture procedures, using the correct containers for each test.
• Correctly labeling patient sample containers to avoid mix-ups.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to established safety protocols.
• Clearly explaining phlebotomy procedures to patients for special and routine tests.

To excel in this position, you should possess:

• A Matriculation or Intermediate degree.
• Relevant experience in venipuncture, particularly with adult and pediatric patients.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Thorough knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and various collection containers.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to variable shifts.
