Job Summary

We seek a skilled Litigation Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of litigating personal injury cases from initial filing through trial or settlement.
  • Oversee administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks.
  • Preside over paralegals and administrative assistants in connection with time records, client billing, meetings, and projects.
  • Counsel clients on options and determine the best course of action for a successful outcome.
  • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis.
  • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience representing clients in arbitrations and trials.
  • WSBA Membership required.
  • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a law firm environment.
  • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required.
  • Membership in a local bar association is necessary - active membership preferred.
