Purchase Officer

Developing and executing purchasing strategies is essential to drive business growth at JEI Switchgear Pvt. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily purchasing activities, supervise staff, and allocate tasks effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring optimal prices, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a robust supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
  • Oversee the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure all procured items meet required quality standards and specifications.
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets efficiently.
  • Continuously improve purchasing systems and processes.
  • Train new employees in the purchasing process and software usage.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience as a purchasing manager or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of inventory and supply chain management principles.
  • Supervisory and management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, planning, and organizational abilities.
