Lead Software Development Strategist

We are seeking a skilled leader to oversee our software development team.

This role involves recruiting, managing, and developing a team of developers and QA engineers who create IoT and/or cognitive applications using IBM Bluemix and IBM Watson.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing software development teams in an Agile environment with mixed skill sets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team in implementing solutions to complex problems
  • Providing detailed solution architecture
  • Producing precise documentation for internal and third-party developers
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest industry software development innovations
  • Establishing software development processes within the department to ensure quality, cost, and predictability of outputs

Key qualifications include:

  • 7+ years software development experience
  • 2+ years experience in managing software development teams in an Agile environment
  • Experience with designing REST APIs
