About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and leadership skills. As a Digital Transformation Strategist, you will play a key part in shaping and driving technology disruption and digital transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology applications portfolio management, with a focus on proactive application lifecycle management or services. You will be responsible for managing the staff required to achieve this, acting as a bridge between business requirements and developers to deliver products as per business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Partnering with business stakeholders to innovate and execute digital transformation roadmaps, developing and leading teams of tech solutions specialists for application development, day-to-day application support, compliance, governance, maintenance, lifecycle management, and planning of business applications used within their service area.
  2. Interacting directly with various tech groups, business owners/users, external product vendors, data vendors, and offshore support suppliers, setting and monitoring service levels, and conducting service reviews with all areas.
  3. Identifying and executing service improvements that lead to lower cost of ownership for assigned services.
  4. Managing and remedying any audit or compliance findings per GSK standards and executing routine testing of agreed IT Continuity Plans.

You will serve as a point of contact for service operations performance with the Tech Head and Tech delivery teams, defining, documenting, agreeing, monitoring, measuring, reporting, and reviewing the tech services provided.

A successful candidate will possess experience in integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft services (e.g., Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint) and third-party applications, as well as ability to design and implement low-code/no-code solutions to automate workflows and improve business processes.

Innovative customer engagement projects with a digital mindset are also expected, along with experience in utilizing project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to ensure timely and successful delivery of tech initiatives.
