Freight Broker Position

We are seeking an exceptional Freight Broker to act as a liaison between customers and freight carriers. This vital role involves securing new accounts, expediting information sharing between customers and carriers, and facilitating communication with dispatchers and carriers to track load status.

To ensure success in this position, you must maintain current knowledge of freight carrier services, effectively attract new customers, and retain existing relationships. Top candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to secure transportation of goods on behalf of shippers and carriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure new accounts and foster strong relationships with customers and freight carriers.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Pair customers with suitable freight carriers, book orders, and coordinate loading operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Dispatch Department, Carrier Onboarding Department, and Floor Manager to achieve daily/monthly targets.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role (i.e., Freight Broker or Dispatcher in Logistics and Supply Chain Management).
  • Excellent English communication skills, including written and verbal proficiency.
  • Familiarity with transportation management software and systems.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities, with a focus on negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional people skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
