We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to develop innovative, reusable web-based tools for progressive online activism and community building. Our team works closely with project managers, strategists, and design team members to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Project Managers and other team members to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Produce project estimates during the sales process, including expertise required, total number of people required, total development hours required, etc.
  • Attend client meetings during the sales process and development phase.
  • Collaborate with clients and Project Managers to build and refine graphic designs for websites, requiring strong skills in Photoshop or equivalent applications.
  • Convert raw images and layouts from graphic designers into CSS/XHTML themes.
  • Determine appropriate architecture and technical solutions, making relevant recommendations to clients.
  • Communicate progress and delays to the Project Manager efficiently and accurately, engaging in outside-the-box thinking to provide high-value services to clients.
  • Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and their integration opportunities into operations and activities.
  • Contribute regularly to the development community of your chosen CMS.
