Audit and Accounting Expertise Required

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to assist in managing audit engagements, reviewing financial reporting deliverables, overseeing accounting projects, and providing technical guidance to junior staff.

This role demands a strong understanding of Canadian GAAP (ASPE/IFRS), audit methodologies, and financial reporting standards, with the ability to work with clients across multiple industries.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables
  • Review and oversee accounting projects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Provide technical guidance to junior staff, mentoring them in audit methodologies and financial reporting standards
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP (ASPE/IFRS) and audit methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in Accounting or related field, with relevant certifications (e.g. CPA)
