Underwriting Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled underwriter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting new and existing business to achieve their business goals.

• Providing pre-sales underwriting guidance to financial advisers to support new business relationships.
• Contributing to the development of our underwriting processes.
• Maintaining an understanding of relevant regulations, including the Data Protection Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
• Identifying and escalating potential risks to the head of underwriting.
• Having a strong background in protection products, with experience working within an underwriting team for income protection products.
• Developing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
