Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients or account managers to understand business objectives and job requirements.
  • Develop a concept that meets client needs and end-user expectations.
  • Evaluate the time required to complete tasks.
  • Prepare design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
  • Cultivate innovative ideas and concepts.
  • Redefine a design brief within constraints of cost and time.
  • Present finalized ideas and concepts to clients.
  • Work with various media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD).
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in produced work.
  • Maintain a high level of creativity in contributing to overall briefs.
  • Demonstrate illustration skills through rough sketches.
  • Develop layouts and artwork pages ready for print and web.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver, and Flash.
  • Work collaboratively with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists.
