Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the development team to identify, document, and track defects, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

  1. Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications.
  2. Execute manual test cases and provide detailed reports on test results.
  3. Identify, document, and track defects and issues in the defect tracking system.
  4. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide timely feedback.
  5. Participate in requirement review meetings and contribute to the development of high-quality software.
  6. Provide regular updates on testing progress, coverage, and results to the QA Manager and other team members.
  7. Ensure software meets specified requirements and is free of defects.
  8. Validate that user expectations are met during the testing process.
  9. Verify fixes for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
  2. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  6. Basic understanding of SQL and database querying.
