About this role

We're seeking an ambitious software engineer to join our product's core team. As a member of our engineering team, you'll play a vital part in developing and maintaining our code generation platform.

You will collaborate with talented engineers to grow and evolve our platform, gaining exposure to advanced technologies and complex challenges. We're looking for an engineer with a passion for innovation and improving software systems.

Key responsibilities:
  • Software development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using C# along with any other programming language.
  • Collaboration: Work with the team to understand and implement project requirements.
  • Code quality: Write clean, testable code and assist in debugging technical issues.
  • Continuous improvement: Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback. Support platform improvements and technical debt resolution.
  • Technology exploration: Explore new technologies and tools to enhance your technical skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
  • Research and development: Engage in R&D tasks, explore new technologies, and contribute to problem-solving discussions for SDK development.
Required skills and qualifications:
  • Programming languages: Experience working with any one of these languages (C#, Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, or Typescript), with preference given to hands-on experience in C#.
  • Experience level: 0 to 2 years of experience in software development, ideally with exposure to software engineering practices.
  • Critical thinking: Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Software design principles: Knowledge of SOLID principles, OOP design principles, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
  • Communication skills: Good communication skills and a desire to collaborate in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Design patterns and best practices: Basic knowledge of design patterns and best practices for writing clean, modular, and reusable code.
  • APIs: Exposure to REST APIs and familiarity with how they operate.
  • Version control: Experience with Git for version control.
Bonus points for:
  • Multilingual proficiency: Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages.
  • C# expertise: Proficiency in C# and understanding its object-oriented programming principles.
  • SDKs and libraries: Experience of working with 3rd party SDKs and libraries.
  • Workflow automation: Experience in writing GH workflows.
  • Swagger/OpenAPI: Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI spec and Swagger Codegen.
  • SDK design: Interest in designing and developing SDKs or libraries.
  • Cloud platforms: Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
