Job Description
  • Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to lead our SRE team. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for managing and operating diverse cloud offerings and services running in public clouds across multiple regions at scale.

As the Lead DevOps/SRE, you will provide technical guidance and support to other DevOps and software engineers. You will also take on an Agile Scrum master role in developing and grooming operational and security epics and user stories.

You will be able to manage and maintain services in AWS GovCloud/FedRAMP environments and handle huge traffic of millions of requests per second in a secure, reliable and auto-scaling way. Additionally, you will assist in managing and enhancing fully automated and continuously deployed systems in the Cloud.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills:
  • Leadership & Team Management: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
  • DevOps & Integration: Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
  • Security & Compliance: Experience with corporate security and overseeing cybersecurity compliance efforts for SOC2 and ISO 27001.
  • Technical Development: Utilize various technologies including Python, Shell scripting, Computer Source Code (Git, Github, Bitbucket).
  • Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Operations, Software Development and/or Automation role.
  • Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS in Computer Science or related STEM field, In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, Linux/docker/container performance measurement.
