Real Estate and Facilities Manager

  • Manage the maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of properties to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Oversee building and facilities maintenance, asset management, and audits of third-party contracts.

  • Supervise contractors on budgets, specialties, and project execution; conduct site visits to ensure quality and timeliness.

  • Handle permits, licenses, and municipal approvals in the system; ensure compliance with zoning, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Plan and manage repair and maintenance schedules; maintain strong relationships with service providers to ensure cost-effective and prompt issue resolution.

  • Negotiate leases and contracts for cost-effectiveness and alignment with company goals.

  • Develop and execute preventive/corrective maintenance schedules for all facilities and equipment.

  • Manage budgets for purchases, repairs, and maintenance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements; prepare financial and operational reports on asset performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze facility conditions and identify areas for improvement.

  • Implement effective preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory levels, and supply chain management.

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree, Business/Commerce would be preferred
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate and facility management
  • Proficient with Google Workplace
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
