Full Stack Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled developer with expertise in the MERN stack to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of server-side development using Node.js and Express.js, and experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain frontend and backend components of web applications using the MERN stack.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the frontend and backend.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role with a minimum of [X] years of experience.
  3. Strong proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js and Redux.
  4. Solid understanding of server-side development using Node.js and Express.js.
  5. Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  6. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  2. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  3. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
