Cloud Engineer FinOps

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to optimize and manage cloud infrastructure.

  • Implement efficient cloud cost management practices.
  • Collaborate with security teams to integrate best practices into the cloud environment.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments for compliance.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms for cloud metrics and KPIs.
  • Analyze cloud usage, costs, and security incidents.
  • Provide actionable insights for performance optimization and cost efficiency.
  • Design scalable and secure cloud solutions with architects and engineers.
  • Ensure implementation aligns with best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization.
  • Implement monitoring solutions to identify and address performance issues.
  • Optimize cloud resources for maximum efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Implement security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, as well as 2+ years of experience in FinOps and Cloud Operations. Strong quantitative data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint are also required. Knowledge of AWS service offerings, containerization tools, and infrastructure as code is a plus.
