We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team.

A key member of our backend engineering team will design, build, and maintain the services and systems that power our financial products. They will ensure millions of users enjoy fast, secure, and reliable financial experiences every day.

  • Design and build scalable backend systems: Create APIs, services, and data pipelines to support our mobile and web applications.
  • Ensure reliability and performance: Optimize system architecture to handle rapid growth and large-scale user activity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, develop, and deploy new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable code: Follow best practices in software development, testing, and documentation.
  • Own deployment and monitoring: Manage services from development to production, ensuring high availability and quick incident response.
  • Improve continuously: Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and best practices to keep our systems modern and efficient.

This role requires strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and system design. Proficiency in .NET Core is essential, as well as experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases is also required. Additionally, hands-on experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is beneficial.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of backend development experience, ideally in designing, building, and maintaining production systems.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and system design.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
