Job Title: Production Operations Director

Supervise plant expansion and drive productivity improvements.

Maintain a deep understanding of supply chain, production, accounts, engineering, administration, and human resource functions.

Foster a culture of efficiency in the plant and optimize the cost of production and procurement of goods and devices.

Develop and train your team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Minimize wastage in the plant and ensure timely disposal.

Promote cleanliness and order in the plant.

Reduce worker turnover and implement training programs.

Formulate and execute strategies to boost productivity and optimize resources.

Monitor production function performance and ensure compliance with laid-down time schedules.

Guarantee quality and GMP requirements are met across all stages, from raw material receipt to finished goods shipment.

Ensure legislative compliance regarding manufacturing, safety, housekeeping GMP, and environmental requirements.

Provide guidance on supply chain management and ensure effective material handling, optimal inventory utilization, and timely dispatches of finished goods.

Develop proposals for critical capacity areas and long-term upgrading/expansion programs, recommending capital expenditures.

Oversee plant expansion, alteration, and modification of existing machines, equipment, and services to improve overall productivity and efficiency.

Lead the development and introduction of new processes and products within the company's policy framework and approved procedures.

Implement effective maintenance schedules and prepare a cost-effective inventory of spares to address emergencies and schedule maintenance needs.

Ensure seamless workability of all equipment, machines, and the plant.

Administer company policies and procedures within your area of responsibility, focusing on employee orientation, training, and leadership development.

Plan for future production requirements by identifying and procuring new machines and equipment.

Ensure overall plant and administrative safety.

Maintain liaison with relevant government agencies for statutory requirements regarding electric installations, boilers, and regulatory obligations.

Ensure availability of functional equipment to support the manufacturing process.

Ensure reliable utilities in adequate quality and quantity to support manufacturing and supporting areas.Key Responsibilities:

  • At least 8 years of experience.
