Job SummaryThis role involves overseeing all financial aspects of our smart schools project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage the financial plan for the smart schools initiative.
Oversee accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Ensure all financial activities comply with local laws, donor requirements, and accounting standards.
Provide regular financial reports to internal stakeholders, donors, and partners.
Collaborate with the fundraising team to track grant funds and prepare financial reports for donors.
Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and plan for the organization's future.
Assist in the annual audit process and ensure financial records are maintained according to best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
4-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the education sector.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Experience managing donor funds and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
