Electrical Design Engineer Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Design Engineer. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight throughout the proposal and design phase of solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement solar PV system designs, including 1-line diagrams and array layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrate expertise in structural, mechanical, and electrical design, utilizing AutoCAD software to generate accurate and detailed construction drawings and documents.
  • Collaborate closely with project development and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of solar PV systems from design to completion.
  • Analyze current technical tools and evaluate their effectiveness in supporting solar PV system design and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV system design, with a strong understanding of relevant engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and related Autodesk software, as well as HelioScope and other solar performance modeling tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate highly detailed and accurate construction drawings, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
