Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD student to join our research team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an exciting project titled Increased prevalence of ESBL producing coliforms and Shiga toxin producing E. coli (STEC) in retail meat samples and study of its consequent adverse effects on human health using quantitative gene expression assay.
- The ideal candidate should be enrolled in a PhD program in Biotechnology or a related field.
- Prior experience in research projects, especially those involving molecular biology and bioinformatics tools, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and contribute to the development of research proposals.
- Analyze data using advanced bioinformatics tools and statistical software.
- Participate in seminars and workshops to stay updated on the latest developments in the field.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- MSc degree in Biotechnology or a related field.
- Strong background in molecular biology and bioinformatics tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
