Graphic Designer Job Description

A Graphic Designer is responsible for creating high-impact design solutions by understanding project needs and managing multiple briefs. The ideal candidate will possess a creative flair, knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing innovative ideas and concepts that meet project objectives, choosing the most suitable media and style.
  • Demonstrating exceptional illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts.
  • Preparing pages for print and contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
  • Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to the account manager and proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Technical Requirements

The successful candidate will be proficient in design programs such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver, and Flash.

Requirements
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies in new media and developing interactive design.
  • Commissioning illustrators and photographers and meeting with the account manager to discuss project objectives and requirements.
