Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant to manage our accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, reconciliations, and financial reports.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager Accounts. As an Assistant Manager Accounts, you will be responsible for maintaining our company's accounts, managing multiple accounts simultaneously, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain companies' accounts for UK-based customers
  • Chase payments on overdue invoices
  • Promote a healthy cash flow
  • Prepare and review accounting records, financial statements, and analysis of other financial reports
  • Establish tables of accounts (ledgers) and post entries into proper accounts
  • Compute and calculate outstanding taxes and prepare tax returns according to Pakistan Tax Regulations
  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously, applying accounting standards and audit procedures as necessary
  • Develop and analyze projected budgets, presenting comparisons of actual and projected costs
  • Handle account-related inquiries from sales persons
  • Maintain lists of accounts payable and receivable for management review
  • Administer the monthly payroll to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
  • Prepare, review, and file payroll summaries, journals, and reports
  • Produce financial reports for CEO review, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Verify timely bank reconciliations by Accounts Officers
  • Establish and maintain supplier and customer accounts, performing periodic account reconciliations
  • Ensure organized and timely processing of all payments, both international and local

Key Requirements
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience working in a UK-based company
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Excellent English speaking and writing abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with one of the following accounting systems: Sage, MS Great Plains, or KashFlow
