Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with experience in developing comprehensive test plans and strategies. You will be responsible for creating detailed test cases and scripts, executing tests, documenting results, and providing reports on identified defects and issues.

You will also design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to increase efficiency. Additionally, you will conduct regular regression testing to ensure feature stability after code changes.

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will work closely with developers to understand software architecture and facilitate communication regarding testing requirements. You will also design and execute performance testing to ensure software scalability and responsiveness.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. You should have at least 1.5-2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role in a tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Create detailed, well-structured test cases and scripts to validate software functionality.
  • Execute test cases, document results, and provide reports on identified defects and issues.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for increased efficiency.
  • Conduct regular regression testing to ensure feature stability after code changes.
  • Log, track, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with developers to understand software architecture and facilitate communication regarding testing requirements.
  • Design and execute performance testing to ensure software scalability and responsiveness.

Requirements

A successful Senior Test Engineer will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases is essential. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is also required.
