Job Description
  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Managing cash flows and investments to optimize returns;
  3. Developing and implementing financial strategies to minimize risks and maximize returns;
  4. Preparing comprehensive financial reports, including financial planning and forecasting;
  5. Advising on tax and treasury issues to minimize risks and maximize returns;
  6. Negotiating terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals;
  7. Liaising with internal and external auditors to address any financial irregularities;
  8. Producing reports and recommendations following internal audits or public-sector audits;
  9. Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts;
  10. Liaising with clients to provide financial information and advice;
  11. Reviewing the company's systems and analyzing risk to prevent potential threats;
  12. Performing tests to verify the accuracy of financial information and systems;
  13. Advising clients on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions;
  14. Advising clients on areas of business improvement or dealing with insolvency;
  15. Detecting and preventing fraud through forensic accounting;
  16. Managing junior colleagues to ensure their growth and development;
  17. Advising clients on tax planning within current legislation to minimize tax liability;
  18. Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts for small businesses.
