Financial Analysis and Planning Assistant Director

The role of Financial Analysis and Planning Assistant Director is critical to the success of our organization. As we roll out strategic initiatives across the firm, this position will play a key role in helping to maintain and improve profitability and provide strategic insights.

This finance professional will offer support to the ASU Financial Analysis and Planning Lead on P&L analysis and other KPIs. The role will establish best-in-class support, functional expertise, and reporting solutions with a particular focus on analytics and financial modelling.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial planning and analysis cycle in a year, including SL performance KPIs.
  • Conduct data analysis on large datasets to provide leadership insights on performance and profitability, driving business decisions.
  • Lead the development of financial models for different scenarios to assess the impact of changing levers.
  • Support the Operations Lead in root cause analysis of variances and identification of possible solutions to resolve issues.
  • Establish effective working relationships with the extended Finance team and ASU leadership team.
  • Participate in various improvement initiatives and information gathering activities within the financial planning and analysis space.
  • Be the go-to person for all analysis and financial modelling.

To Qualify for the Role:

  • You must have a strong knowledge of MS Office Packages, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Detail-oriented and eager to analyze and solve complex cases.
  • A finance-related degree or qualified accountant.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Innovative, confident, and creative thinker with the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Willing to work in a flexible working pattern.
