IT Support Professional

Description:

CyberNet Communications seeks a skilled IT Support Professional to deliver exceptional service and support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • A creative mindset, problem-solving abilities, and self-learning skills are necessary for success.
  • The ideal candidate will have an innovative attitude, be stress-resistant, and possess excellent teamwork and flexibility skills.
  • Previous experience in a 24/7 Network Operation Center or call Center environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve users' problems with computer software and hardware.
  • Deliver exceptional service and support to end-users via automated call distribution phone software and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Proactively monitor and respond to events, error conditions, and threshold events in the network monitoring system, and troubleshoot accordingly.
  • Interact with customers to provide accurate information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.
  • Follow established processes and procedures.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues per Client specifications.
  • Redirect problems to the appropriate resource when necessary.
  • Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated tracking software.
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and oral English skills are mandatory.
  • Outstanding technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • The ability to manage between 20-30 inbound calls per shift and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, etc.), Adobe PDF, and other basic business productivity software is necessary.
  • Working knowledge of IT system fundamentals and system management tasks is required.
  • Working knowledge of networking principles and operating systems is essential.
  • Ability to clearly document and articulate technical issues in English.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, self-motivated, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work closely with peers and other teams is crucial.
