Job Title: Assistant Manager

This role involves supervising the day-to-day activities of our transportation department, including vehicle maintenance, fleet management, and logistics planning.

Key Activities:

  1. Supervise the maintenance team to ensure vehicles are properly serviced and repaired.
  2. Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to meet organizational needs.
  3. Manage relationships with transport vendors to secure reliable services at competitive prices.
  4. Process claims and conduct investigations into any incidents involving company vehicles.
  5. Monitor fleet costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute vehicle movements and deliveries.
  7. Train and mentor junior staff members in their roles as drivers, maintenance personnel, or coordinators.
  8. Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
