Responsibilities
As a Graphic Designer and Video Editor, you will be responsible for:

• Developing creative and innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects
• Utilizing industry-standard graphic design software to create and edit designs
• Conducting research and gathering inspiration from various sources to stay informed about design trends, industry best practices, and competitor analysis
• Using the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic while receiving and incorporating feedback from team members to refine and improve designs
• Editing and manipulating video footage to create visually engaging and cohesive videos for YouTube and other social media channels
• Understanding the narrative and objectives of the video content and developing a storytelling approach through effective sequencing and editing techniques

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven work experience as a graphic designer and video editor, or in similar roles will be preferable
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and video editing projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and a variety of styles can be an added advantage

Preferred Skills
It would be beneficial if you have experience in designing for both web and mobile platforms, with a focus on user-centered design (UI/UX) with a strong portfolio showcasing work in both areas. You should also have proficiency in animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Blender) and the ability to incorporate animations into video content. Knowledge of typography, color theory, and branding principles to create visually cohesive designs is also desirable.
