
Financial Operations Assistant

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent accounting knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage general ledger accounts, including accurate and timely postings, reconciliations, and analysis of account activity
• Maintain cash book and petty cash records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Process payment vouchers, invoices, and other financial documents, verifying accuracy and completeness
• Oversee stock ledger management, including inventory control and reconciliation of physical counts with system records
• Conduct bank reconciliations, investigating any discrepancies or unusual transactions
• Prepare daily sales and recovery reports for submission to head office, providing detailed analysis of sales trends and customer behavior
• Coordinate overtime tracking and payroll processing for employees
• Develop and maintain sales registers, invoicing systems, payment records, and customer aging reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers
• Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with relevant work experience preferred
