Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of software solutions through thorough testing. Collaborating closely with software developers and architects, you will identify and resolve issues by developing and executing tests, analyzing results, and reporting defects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and execute test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Document and record test results, comparing them to expected outcomes to validate software performance.
  • Identify software failures to enable defect detection and correction, thereby improving overall product quality.
  • Document and report issues; track issue resolution to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Participate in application planning meetings to align with project objectives.
  • Establish and maintain an automated testing infrastructure to streamline testing processes.
  • Create and enhance test automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Implement Continuous Integration of automated tests using Jenkins to ensure seamless integration.
  • Understand the application and its environment to develop effective automation strategies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development environment as a programmer or tester.
  • Experience with QA Automation tools to automate testing processes.
  • Able to write automated scripts for testing User Interfaces, REST-based APIs, and Web Services.
  • Skilled in problem/issue identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution to deliver high-quality products.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • A team player with excellent collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working with payment processing software to leverage existing knowledge.
